COUNTERWEIGHT ADJUSTABLE DESK LAMP
For the Luminaire project, we were approached by Mike Stoane Lighting in conjunction with Xicato to produce a new lighting feature suitable for the residential environment.

From this, I chose to do a desk light that took up very little space and could be easily moved to new tables without the need for readjusting or bolting it into place.
The design works on a counterweighted principle allowing the centre of mass to sit under the table making it very stable.
​
The light itself gives off 1300 lumens and is dimmable by the interchangeable magnetic shades.
